Melissa Webb is a multi-disciplinary artist working in the areas of installation, performance, photography and video. Originally hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, she holds a BFA in Fiber from Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where she currently resides. Over her nearly 30-year career, Melissa has presented her work at numerous art galleries, festivals and museums while focusing primarily on large-scale projects situated in atypical architectural spaces. Her tactile, site-responsive works aim to engage diverse audiences, creating immersive experiences that transcend the everyday.
