Conner Green is an artist based in Indianapolis, IN. Much of his work employs a range of materials and processes, combining found sculptural and print-based elements. He received his MFA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and his work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally.
The things that interest him and which are perhaps consistently trodden over in his work are:
cultural myths, desire, light, history and its discontents. He finds all of these ideas rife for excavation in the consumer-based material world and the built environment. His process often allows for a certain degree of chance or disorder to come into play, which he believes enables the phenomenal world to speak for itself.
